Arpeggien-System Altblockflöte – Tonleitern-System Übungen

This innovative Arpeggio system is ideal for building a solid technique on the recorder and enables players to warm up quickly. The Scale system and the Arpeggio system offer exercises specifically designed for these purposes andcomplement each other perfectly.

The Arpeggio system covers the entire range of the recorder chromatically. Starting from a common note, it strings together minor and major perfect chords and their inversions – only the first inversion of the major triad is missing due to the chord sequence – as well as the diminished seventh chord, (sometimes the diminished fifth chord) and the dominant seventh chord.

Some of the exercises in this book can be played at various levels, from advanced to professional. A few demonstrate a high degree of virtuosity. The passages highlighted in grey extend beyond the usual range and use the knee technique. To make reading easier, diminished seventh chords are sometimes notated in one of their inversions.The exercises in Series 4 are based on works from therepertoire (Vivaldi, Corelli, Vitali ...).
